Information Processing
We collect the information set out below from our users during the registration process and the use of the one2like service. By submitting this information (including sensitive personal information), you are explicitly agreeing to us processing that information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Please remember that due to the nature of the one2like service, any information that is disclosed to one2like, except the guarantees of privacy that are stated below, can become public information. You should therefore exercise caution when disclosing personal information.
Registration
On initial registration we collate personal information; for example your name, gender, date of birth, profession, height, e-mail address, city and country. We use this information for your profile, administrative purposes and to provide you with the one2like service including e-mail alerts, newsletters (with special offers).
Profile
one2like creates a user profile accessible by other matching users from a combination of the registration data and (personality) test results in order to match users with a potential partner. Some of this information will be visible by other one2like users, such as gender, age, marital status, height, city, profession etc. The name, e-mail address, home address and other specific 'identifier' data will NOT be visible to other partner matches. Your Facebook friends can only see the data that you have already agreed to be accessible via Facebook.
You can change or delete your profile data at any time.
Communication
Communication between users is handled via an internal messaging system. The name and e-mail address will not be disclosed to the partner matches by one2like. We do not use or disclose the information during these communications for any purpose.
Cookies and log files
We automatically log certain information about how our users use our service to improve the usability of our website and to provide the best service possible to our customers.
Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but users can configure their browsers to not accept cookies. Please be aware that disabling cookies will stop your ability to use our one2like services.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We generally do not disclose personal information we have collected from our users to third parties. Information that one2like users disclose to one2like may be disclosed to one2like employees to administer the user's account.
Users
If the user is a registered one2like user and he/she has unlocked herself/himself to get access to partner matches and to be found under other users' partner matches, other partner matches will see this user under an anonymous one2like user-ID; the user’s name is not visible to other one2like partner matches. However, the information that the user provides in her/his one2like profile is available to other partner matches.
Facebook friends and friends-of-friends cannot see which partner matches, if any, the user is interested in.
Payment
one2like cooperates with Ogone Payment Services to process payment of subscription fees. Ogone operates a secure server to process payments details. Your credit card, debit card or bank account information details are never revealed to one2like.
Security
one2like has appropriate measures in place to ensure that personal information is protected against unauthorized access or use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss. However, one2like cannot guarantee the security of all information that the user may disclose. Users accept the inherent risks of providing information and dealing online and will not hold one2like responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to one2like's negligence or willful default.
Changes
Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page so that users are always aware of the information that one2like collects, how one2like uses it, and under what circumstances one2like discloses it.
